Korean Food Festival

Last Friday we were enjoying our window shopping around BB area when we saw a place filled with Korean food. It was the Korean Food Festival. Wah first time kami nampak nie heheeheee then we took the chance to buy Food that ndak pernah kami nampak di Malaysia. I was very impressed with the Korean lady whom sold the Ginseng to us. She can speak 5 different languages including Malay. Kewl!

Since the price of the food was not so okay, then I only bought the noodles. Satu bungkus pun sudah mau RM4. But, my fiance shopping berabis bah heheehee he bought candies that made from Ginseng and the Ginseng itself. Kalah sia o... I manage to take pictures of the food we bought but it was not so clear since I took it with HP cam. Miskin bah, tia mampu mo beli cam. :P

The noodles. Belum ada chance mo try till today.

The Ginseng candies yang tia sedap

The Ginseng. We bought the Ginseng and we preserve it with alcohol. Have to wait until three months then baru boleh minum.

How Great is our god

I know some of you may said this song is out of date. For me it's still on. Sharing it with you will make me a better person :)

new day new life

it's been ages since my last post. People will said that they were busy and doesn't have time to update their blog. Yah that was the common reason that we always heard. But it's different for me thou. I'm not so busy nor don't have even a little time for my blog. it's just that I don't have a nice topic that i could share with you guys.

Life was quite okay so for me. This morning, I woke up a bit early coz I want to witness my fiance fitness exam which they have to run for about 2.4km.So, i followed him to the Tasik. But, instead of watching him run I took the chance to find a place to sit and read a book. It was so wonderful. The breeze, the silent and the sound of birds,it makes me feel very calm. What a great morning it was.
I'm hired! hehehee a bit happy there. few days ago I went for a couple of interview and guest what! all of them offering me a job. I was so happy to received the new as after all the hard work in finding a job, I finally got it. Thanks to God. Since I got a few offer at the same time, It took me a day to think which job should I except. Pheewww finally after all the thinking and discussion with my fiance,I made a decision and decided to take the job with low pressure and cost me only a few bucks to travel everyday to work.

The company asked me to star work immediately, like today. But I said I can't and because of the bos is so nice ohh almost forget to tell the managing director's wife was a Sabahan. Hahahah lucky me I can talk with Sabah slang there :) They ask me to come to work next Monday. Wah, so fast! hmm....but it's okay, at least dapat juga pocket money cepat sikit.
For the time being, I just have to focus on this job before continuing searching for gov vacan. Who doesn't rite? Well people, this is a little bit update that i can share with you guys. I'm running out of idea again. Haahaha don't blame me, blame my brain and my creativity.

It's Coming

Do you still remember Sophie Kinsella? no kidding of course you are, who doesn't? Then if you still do, you must remember the book Confessions of a Shopaholic right? Therefore I'm here to announce (eventhou some or all of you already know) that a movie based on this book will coming out very soon. Horay! Horay!

I'm sharing the synopsis with you....
Based on the books "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and "Shopaholic Takes Manhattan" by Sophie Kinsella. Rebecca Bloomwood is a 25 year old who lives with her best friend Suze in Suze's flat (paying her friend rent that is well below market value), in a trendy part of town. Rebecca has a very boring job writing for a financial magazine. She has a shopping addiction and her crap job doesn't pay enough. Her bills are piling up, so she tries cutting back (complete fiasco), then she tries making more money (another fiasco). Eventually, Becky discovers a story that she is truly invested in. Exposing the story gets the attention of a (male, need I say more?) colleague that she hasn't quite figured out yet. Some drama ensues as she snags the (EXTREMELY hot) guy, and she attempts to pay off her ever-growing debt.

I know it will be a fantastic movie, I can feel it! can't wait!!

Life

It's 2.50 in the morning and I'm still wide awake. I could not sleep so I decided to watch a movie. It was an old movie and I've watched it few times in Spanish. But this time I got a copy of it in English. So I watch it again (in a language that I can understand hehee) I was really touch by this movie. It was based on a true story, a true story of someone life. The movie title was Homeless to Harvard. I know you may think it was an outdated movie, but believe me every time to watch it, the feel is still there.

This lifetime original movie tells the amazing true story of former troubled teen Liz Murray. Born into a poor, dysfunctional family led by a coke-addicted father and blind, HIV-positive mother,Liz spends her formative years exposed to the drugs and neglect that eventually drive her toward living on the streets of New York at age 15. It isn't until her mother's death from AIDS that Liz decides to turn her life around by going back to high school, becoming a star student, and earning a scholarship to Harvard University through an essay contest sponsored by the New York Times.

This type of film should be watch by youngsters whom still doesn't know the real picture of life. It may open their mind and hearts

may i borrow $25?

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'

DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.

SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.

SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'

SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'

The father was furious,
'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often.

The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.

'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.

'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you.

Here's the $25 you asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled.

Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied. 'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts.

Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love. Have we forgotten what is really important in life? Too caught up in money, personalambitions, and forgot how to enjoy and appreciate the sweet simplicities in life?

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

Making Choices

The most exiting day in a week for me is the weekends. I love it very much and I look forward for it every now and then. Weekends was the best day ever in my life. Wondering why? Well, there's a few reason to it. First of all, all my family member are not working. Which means there's more people can do the housechores (hehehe). Secondly, the house will become happening since it covers with laughter and the yelling plus the loud voices of us the siblings hahahahaa. And lastly, we can go jalan² a.k.a bersiar² beramai² like last Sunday (Yippie macam mau tiap² minggu macam tu heheee).

But, when I decided to go back to KL. My fiance reminded me one thing...I cannot simply go back to KK when ever I missed my family, since we were on a tight budget. Hmm...making choices. Now I had to choose weather to go back there or stay where I am now. It's too hard to choose and too hard to think. Living KK means I had to leave my beloved younger brother whom I'll going to miss the most and Not going to KL means I'll never gonna see my fiance till next year (the last time we seeing each other was on August). The life of me and my fiance was a bit hard since we only can see each other twice a year. I know sooner of later I had to leave my brother, my family and my life in KK. But until today, I still can't! hard to let them go. Even thou I've been seeing them for 25 years, still it's not enough.

What should I do? When ever I think of this matter, It makes me sad. I'm still thinking and still do...

  • learn to groom myself (Upgrade hehehee)
  • And the most important thing is...Getting Married and settle down(hahaha itu wajib!)

The above matter is what I wish I can manage to get and do for the up coming new year. It's so easy to write it down but to accomplish this mission is as you know, not that easy. Wish me Luck!

A picture is worth a thousand words

Counting Days

38 days to go. Christmas will be there. But, there's a but to the up coming celebration. Since I could remember, celebrating Christmas was a blur. The excitement and the joy for the day had gone.

Every year, seem like something was missing deep inside me. Where had the happiness, the joy and the excitement gone? I still remember years back when shopping for new clothes and present was the most favourite thing to do. I spent almost a week just to look for the right thing to wear, what kind of present to buy for my family and so on.

Little by little the feelings disappear. Shopping for new clothes? I don't think so..what? present? hmm...let me think...no! Hehehehee Hoping that one day the feeling for Christmas in me will glow back and become brighter and brighter every year.

How I wish it never gone...

Go Green!

On the previous post I did tell about what I like to do the most at the moment as for being a 100% house daughter. On the post, I told you guys that I'm also into planting.

I felt in love with planting after my visit to a flower nursery few months back. The environment around the nursery plus the arrangement of the flower and the colourful plant has make me fall in love instantly.

During the visit, me and my sis took some flowers and seeds so that we can try to grow it at our house. I challenge myself for being able to grow any plant (to see if I got the 'green finger' or not lah bah tu kunun).
The results of my action has taken me to a new level in planting. Presenting...

It's all because of...

I'm bored. Yes, it's all because of the boredom that I'm facing right now. I tried to waste my time by doing something that I've hated so much and now it turns to the other way around.

Since I got so much free time today (actually I have free time almost everyday since I'm jobless :P ), I've decided to bake cookies! Yah, Believe it! It's not a fancy cookies or anything, Just a simple one. As simple as put it in a tray, flatten it and bake. So simple till I had time to make some decoration for the topping.

You see people whom facing a phase where they've reach the maximum boredness in their life, tend to do anything that sounds fun to them. Any things event things that they don't like so much. Well, right now at the moment, I'm in the middle of that phase.

Luckily I dint do anything stupid. Still manage to control myself. Besides baking,I turn myself to love planting and sewing (cross stitch) hmm...sounded like I've become 'mummy²' punya style already. =P At the moment, I don't care what I do as long as I can taste that sense of fun in what ever I do.

Not that Yummy (Tapi habis juga! :P )

Tiger Junior

I'm sure you have seen the pictures of our newly born puppies at my sister Quirin blog. Well, it's not actually new. It's already been few weeks and the puppies is not that little anymore. But the cuteness were still the same..(itu penting!)

Today, only 2 puppies left at home. The rest were given to relatives and friends. Kesian o...they've became so lonely. From ten to two. Yet the main topic for today is..they've grown up! Yah, that's the most important thing.

Look how sweet they are...

Tiger Anyone?

p/s: can't except the fact that sooner or letter it will decrease to one puppy.

How lazy am i?

Many people asked me why one earth I didn't update my blog for so long. Well..obviously the answer will be I AM SO LAZY. Yes, it's true. But my laziness is not in the term of the real meaning of 'lazy'. It's all because of the idea in my head never pop-up and it leave me to a blank page. I've tried so many times to write some things in here but at the end still the results were zero.

What happen to me? Since I've become a full time house daughter (since I'm not married and I still live with my family) my mind, my interest, my passion of writing had gone. I wonder why I became like this. Is this a sign of me becoming an old lady? oh No.....I'm still young. Still had a long journey to go.

Maybe you guys out there had experience this matter. Tell me, what did you do to prevent the old mind becoming more and more older?

Believe it or NOT?

I received an email about this matter and it shock me. The video that I'm going to show put some evidence on the cell phone radiation theory. Imagine this thing happen to our brain. Scary huh....

10 things I hate about you

While browsing my CD's case hours ago, I saw my old fav teens movie that I still love till today. I know most of you guys out there have watched these movie.

The part that I really love the most is when Katarina (Julia) read the poem. It was so unique and beautiful. Since I saw the movie, I look online for the poem and stick it to my wall until today. I even decorated it !

10 things I hate about you

I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair.
I hate the way you drive my car, I hate it when you stare.
I hate your big dumb combat boots and the way you read my mind.
I hate you so much it makes me sick,it even makes me rhyme.
I hate the way you're always right, I hate it when you lie.
I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry.
I hate it when you're not around, and the fact that you didn't call.
But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you, not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.

U-min

Few weeks back I saw Missy Elliott music video on MTV. At first It was normal as like nothing special about it. Suddenly, I saw this 4 mans standing at the back and dance. Actually they were not dancing like the other dancer. I fell in love with them instantly when I saw them dancing like a Robot or in other words 'animation' style.

The Missy Elliott music video. This is where I saw them

Since that day, I tried to dig as many information I can get about the group. Hell yeah, I found they video in Youtube. They were owesome!

The group that I'm telling about called themself U-Min. This Japanese animation crew calls themselves “U-Min” meaning unknown. Even though they focus on “animation” style, the members also perform locking, popping and breaking.

This performance was done for Japanese clothing company called “UNIQLO”.U-min is very unique in their choreography. Each movement itself may not be so unique. But the way they put each movement together as a group and the use of their technique is extraordinary. Because of their amazing skills, they have been knicknamed as “Controller of Time and Space”.

Presenting.........U-min!!
Currently, two members from U-Min, Koutei Sennin and Kikky are performing as a group called “U-Min no kokoro (Soul of U-Min).“Animation” is a style and a technique that attempt to imitate film characters being animated by stop motion. The technique consists of moving rigidly and jerky by tensing muscles and using techniques similar to strobing and the robot to make it appear as if the dancer has been animated frame by frame. This style was heavily inspired by the dynamation films created by Ray Harryhausen, such as The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad (1958)

Meditation on a Coke Can : Lifecycle Awareness of Manufactured Objects

Awareness, dependent origination, and impermanence are all important concepts in Buddhism. Can these concepts be applied to our everyday interaction with the environment? When looking at the Coke can you are about to throw “away.

Brothers and Sisters

"To the outside world we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time. ~Clara Ortega"

Tell me, how close are you with your siblings? Some of use will say "me and my brother doesn't come along very well", "I wish he was not my brother" and some times people will say "Hate them" Ya. This is some of the line we heard everyday. Expression of people about their brothers and sisters.

"Brothers and sisters are as close as hands and feet." ~Vietnamese Proverb

Yes, that quote tells us all the true meaning of brothers and sister. For me, my sisters and brothers were the biggest gift that God had gave me. I am so glad they were mine.

We share laughter, happiness, joy, love, sadness and everything together. There were six of us and non is left behind. Times had brings us together. Experienced has keep us tight and memories has shaped us into a heart that will not break nor thorn.

That is how it should be done. That is how it should end. Brothers and sisters were ment to be as close as ever. They can't be replace as there were no one else as great as they do.

"Having a sister is like having a best friend you can't get rid of. You know whatever you do, they'll still be there. ~Amy Li"

My Mini City

Since I've been staying at home for quite some times now, I tend to look for interesting things to do. The 'interesting' thing was more into games actually. Well to be honest, I'm addicted to games. Any games that were fun, interesting and challenging will be my favourite. I can stay awake all night long just to finish the game.

Earlier this evening, I ask my brother in law about this one kind of game which allow us to build our own city. It was an online game and as soon as he explain to me about the game, I fell in love with it. I know it was not that challenging, but hey I may build my own city successfully.

So, what's the game called? Introducing...MYMINICITY

D'Luke City

I've just started playing this game few minutes ago, so the picture above is whats it look like for the newly build city. You guys must be wondering how is this game working rite? It's so simple and easy. At first you choose a city from a map, then named your city and that's it! Your city will develop each and every time a person visits it. So you need to promote your city in your blog or whatever dot com you had. When the number of residence increase to a certain amount required. It will automatically upgrade your city.

Hmmm I'm suck in explaining this game. But hey, I bet trying it yourself will be much helping you in understanding what the heck i'm trying to explain. Hahahahaa

Have Fun!

Think About it!

Dark red circles indicate oil spills and gray-shaded areas indicate sea pollution and land pollution from chemical fertilizers. Shown is only a small part of the entire pollution spectrum in 1988. At an average of every three months this globe becomes obsolete due to yet another major oil spill.

How many of you out there thinks this is a joke? Still thinking you are not responsible for this matter?

Make a Difference

Ever say to yourself. "But I'm just one person, what can I do?" Hitler was just one person, look what he did. Ok bad example, but the point is YOU can make a difference and this article is designed to inform you how.
  1. Acceptance is the first step toward recovery
  2. Recycling (Saw that coming?) What's the big deal? Use a separate trash can for plastic, use paper grocery bags to hold on newspapers while they wait to be taken to the recycling center, throw all the plastic bags into a bigger plastic bag for the same purpose. And if you're not into recycling, how about just not littering.
  3. Adopt a pet/animal
  4. Ride a bike or walk if possible, why? Everybody needs the exercise.
  5. Donate to charity (Don't have money? Well there's so many type of things you can donate)
  6. Volunteer, "But I don't have the time!" Nah, what are you doing during those long hours in front of the computer screen?
  7. Use MSN Messenger? add a simple *help to your name and MSN will donate a small portion to charity for every conversation you have.(Learn more at http://im.live.com/Messenger/IM/Home/Default.aspx?Source=im_tab)
  8. Purchase a fuel-efficient car.
  9. Develop a fuel efficient car.
  10. Plant a Tree
  11. Help someone

Again I'm Jobless

Ya,ya,ya I know last time I told you guys I wasn't jobless anymore. But, due to some complication at my x-company, I release myself from the group and now I'm back to KK JOBLESS and BROKE!
It has been a week now and still I didn't hear any news from all jobs that I've applied. Pity me..sob* sob* sob*. I'm totally 100% housewife at the moment. First few days at home was fun and I didn't feel bored at all. But then going to one week I became bored and bored and more bored. How I wish I got a job at this moment.
How long can I stand for being like this? Hopping for it to end right away.

For Sale!

One sister for sale!
One sister for sale!
One crying and spying young
sister for sale!
I'm really not kidding,
So who will start the bidding?
Do I hear a dollar?
A nickle?
A penny?
Oh, isn't there, isn't there,
isn't there any
One kid who will buy this old
sister for sale,
This crying and spying yound
sister for sale?

Brother for sale,
only 50 cents.
Brother for sale,
he's not a big expense.
You can hug him, you can bug him,
you can buy or rent.
Brother for sale, only 50 cents.

Would anyone like to buy a
slightly used big brother?
Even if you have one now,
trade him for another.
He will help you with the chores
and he's really clean.
The only problem is sometimes
he can be so mean.

Brother for sale, twenty-five cents.
Brother for sale, he's not a big expense.
You can hug him, you can bug him,
you can buy or rent.
Brother for sale, twenty-five cents.

If Mom knew we were selling him,
we would really get it.
Buy him now; don't wait till October;
on approved credit.
Buy him now and we'll tell you
what we will do Mister.
We'll throw into the deal
our little baby sister.

Brother for sale, only 10 cents...........

He will always pick you up
when you take a fall.
And he's good at showing
you how to catch a ball.
He always tells these funny jokes
and does this crazy dance.
Hey wait, he sounds like a pretty nice guy.
Let's give him one more chance.

Our brother's not for sale,
not for any price.
Our brother's not for sale,
we guess he will suffice.
We love to hug him,
we love to bug him, he's really rather nice.
Our brother's not for sale, not for any price

Congratulation to all my Friends

Finally the day has come for ME and the rest of my friends to step into a new world. Congratulation to all my friends for successfully completed their degree (including me hehe).

Actually this is not my first time attending a convocation. I've attended my diploma Convo before and therefor I was not that excited. But there's a big different between the two. This time my family was there. My fiance was there. The feeling is much more different when your love ones were there to witness and share your joy and happiness. We event took out family picture in a studio for the first time in our life.

During the day, I had to wake up like 5.30 in the morning just to get prepared and drove to Uni. Thank God it was Sunday and the road was like supper clear. I drove my car along with my fiance and took our breakfast near Uni. At first we were suppose to gather at in front of the hall like 7am sharp but we didn't hehehe well...to be honest, even thou we had to gather at 7 but still we have to wait like few hours more just to enter the hall. So, instead of going there early, I spent my time at the parking lot with my ex-roommate chatting while we put on our robe. Gosh it was so ot that day.

Hey talking about a hot day. The previous day of my Convo was my bestfriend Suzie's Convo and it was raining heavily. I was lucky it dint rain during mine. But hot hot hot. My sweat drops like waterfall. My face looks like ohh can't even mention it here. There for, me and my fam dint stay there for long. As soon as I finished. We directly left the area.

I don't event have time to say good bye to all my friends..I am sad. So sad when to think about it. Hopefully all my friends out there will always keep in touch with me and all the best with their life. Once again, CONGRATULATION!!

Home Sweet Home

Finally I reach my homeland. The land that I missed so much. During the flight I was very impressed with my fiance. Usually when we travel for long distance, he always and will always be sleeping and never bother about anything else. But this time It's different. He didn't sleep the whole journey (not even a yawn). I gave him my Sudoku because I'm afraid he will get bored of not doing anything. He did all the Sudoku all the way from KL to KK without getting bored. This is an improvement..hehehee

Today is my first day in my homeland. I woke at 7am and start doing the house cores and even cleaning my room. My schedule for the day is very pack from morning till night. It was very enjoyable and tiring. But who cares, as long as I was with my family then the word tired is meaningless.

It is good to be back.I'm looking forward for this coming Sunday as it will be my graduation day. I finally finished my study year and soon I will be entering the working world. I am still looking for a new job as the previous one is hmm...I can't tell! So, any blogger out there whom their company got any vacancies, please let me know.

I love Sabah,I love my Family, I love my House and I love my room. HEheee

Countdown

9 days. Yes that is the days that left for me to return to my hometown. I can't wait! missing all the people there and especially my little brother (the fact that he is not little anymore). How I miss him very much! He is getting matured day by day (Hehehee kebang hidung dia if he read this). Aron, your beloved sister is going home...Yahoo!!!

Besides by brother, there is yet another thing that I miss which is my PC and my room. Wahh! I know it will covered with dust and the quote "Don't Step on the Grass" can be use in my room already (Hehehe Big Sister the quote sounds familiar rite?. But I don't care. The only important thing is I miss it like a lot!

The first thing that I will be doing as soon as I reach my house is to hug my brother hehehe (tungguuuu) then try on the new TV (nah sia tau sia yang paling ketinggalan) and last but not least hibernating in my room yeah! (The favorite part). O yah i almost forgot, Last nite my fiance was asking me about my two little children and I suddenly remember them. My Vin Dissel and Jessica Alba hehehe I miss the too.How big are they now? (Sis how big are they?)and don't tell me they died cause I know they are not!

You know what, If I may have a job in KK I was planning to have a new baby. And this time it would not be a fish as the last time the fish that me and my sister bought died on the next day. Fish is very sensitive. So I am planning to get a new pet which is.....(Drum rolls)....Rabbit! hahahahah I really fall in love with this animal and I'm going to get it if and if I were staying for good.

What else am I missing back home..hmm let me see..yes! I miss driving. But, can I still drive? That one can only be answer as soon as i reach home :)
There so much things that I miss but on top of all..I Miss my Family... ('l')

Water! Water! Water!

While the world's population tripled in the 20th century, the use of renewable water resources has grown six-fold. Within the next fifty years, the world population will increase by another 40 to 50 %. This population growth - coupled with industrialization and urbanization - will result in an increasing demand for water and will have serious consequences on the environment.
"There is a water crisis today. But the crisis is not about having too little water to satisfy our needs. It is a crisis of managing water so badly that billions of people - and the environment - suffer badly." World Water Vision Report

"The world's supply of fresh water is running out. Already one person in five has no access to safe drinking water." How bad is this issue?

Well, here's a hint...

What can i say..

I know, I know..don't blame me..I'm so addicted with this thing. But this time it is much more better compare with the previous. Well, since I'm so bored right now I've decided to give some touch up to my blog. I know I'm not that creative but at least I'm satisfied with what I've done.

The time now is nearly 3am and my eyes is still fresh.I don't event thinking of going to sleep. Hmm...maybe because I'm so excited with this touch up thing. Well..what you guys think about the new skin? Marvelous rite? hehhee...

Employed!

Yes, the title tells it all..today was a very very very happy day for me. The happiest day ever. I got a job! yes! i got it! i was so happy... :)

Tomorrow is my last day of internship. Times flies so fast till i dint realise that it will end tomorrow. This morning i was being called by the big bos. When i entered his room, i became really nervous when i saw the other bosses was also there. Walla! I was wondering why i was called. Then as soon as i sat. They asked me about what exactly i studied in school b4 (when they asked me this, i was afraid that i did something wrong). Hehehe but luckily all the thought were broken. They offered me a position there...hehehe the first thing that i did was smile..then followed with "Yes".

to look for a job this day is easy, but getting the job is supper hard! Hence, i except the offer. I don't want to become jobless as soon as i graduate coz money is very important and i really need it so that i can colour my future more brightly.Hopefully i will be manage to get an offer from the government also and at the same time i am trying my best to gain more and more experience from the company.

Can You Keep a Secret?

Few weeks ago I went to look for a new book to read as I'm so addicted to English novels now and i can't stop it. I went to this bookstore and i found so many New York Time Bestseller. It took almost 2 hours to choose which one i should bought first as my budget is very tight. Then i found this book that really strike my heart and interest. I definitely fall in love with it. Without hesitation, i bought the book and I'm so happy with it. I finished reading the book in only 1 week (yeah i know some people can finished reading it in 1 day. But my time is fixed). What had i experienced while reading the book? hahaahahha there this one time around 1am, i was accompanying my fiance while he was studying for his exam.I sat in front of him and start reading the book. I suddenly laugh out loud till my fiance look and me and said "Eh apa nie, baca buku pun buli ketawa kah? macam tia betul saja ko nie!" I kept on laughing till i finally calm myself and told my fiance the reason i laugh. It was all because of the book. It was so funny. When ever i stop reading the book and did some things my mind is not there. It left at the book. Nah, I'm addicted to the book. I can't explain more as nothing can be explained except you read it your self.

Secrets from her boyfriend:
I weigh one hundred and twenty-eight pounds. Not one eighteen, like Connor thinks.
I’ve always thought Connor looks a bit like Ken. As in Barbie and Ken.

From her colleagues:
When Artemis really annoys me, I feed her plant orange juice. (Which is pretty much every day.) It was me who jammed the copier that time. In fact, all the times.

Secrets she wouldn’t share with anyone in the world:
My G-string is hurting me.
I have no idea what NATO stands for. Or even what it is.

Until she spills them all to a handsome stranger on a plane. At least, she thought he was a stranger.

But come Monday morning, Emma’s office is abuzz about the arrival of Jack Harper, the company’s elusive CEO. Suddenly Emma is face-to-face with the stranger from
the plane, a man who knows every single humiliating detail about her. Things couldn’t possibly get worse—Until they do.

Women & Smoking

One of every five women in America is a smoker. Twenty-three percent of all adult Americans and 21% of American women are currently smokers.

Every year, tobacco-related disease kills over 178,000 women, making it the largest preventable cause of death among women in the U.S.

Smoking is responsible for the premature deaths of approximately 3 million women since 1985.

Women who die of a smoking-related disease lose, on average, 14.5 years of potential life. Men who die of a smoking-related disease lose 13 years of life, on average.

Stroke is the third leading cause of death in the United States.7In 2000 more than 100,000 women (and about 65,000 men) died of stroke.

Heavy smokers (two packs a day) are twice as likely as those who smoke half a pack a day to have a stroke.

Five to 15 years after quitting, the risk of stroke among former smokers approaches that of a person who has never smoked.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all fathers in the world. Nobody can replace you...

Hillsong United in Malaysia

15/06/2008

Seems like I dint drop any post for the last week. I've been busy and just come back from my home town couple of days ago. I've left my home for only 3 weeks and there is so many changes that I've missed. Like my lil brother is getting taller and taller every day...kk is much more hotter than here and so on. Well, I know the changes that I've experience is not that havoc or something but it's something that can effect my life also rite?
During my journey to my fiance birth place last 2 weeks, I've realise how dangerous the kimanis-keningau road were. There road were too slippery and landslide were every where. How on earth the designer of the road dint realise the safety of the road users and how dangerous the road are? Hopefully the government will take action on the design of the road. Please...
Then, now I'm back...feel a bit boring now since my fiance got class and my cousin dint come this weekend so here i am all alone in front of the notebook typing things to kill my boredom. But hey, I've experience something last night. I hurt my leg ahahahaha it's all because of the person who ride the motorcycle and dint realise he has a passenger at the back...heheheheh it's hurt a lot! i almost drop my tears but since it was a public area then i control macho lah hahahaha This morning when i woke up, i couldn't feel my feet. Ohwww it's still hurts.
Wah! tomorrow is June 16th ahahahaahah well somebody is turning 31 tomorrow hmmm...I wonder who..

Sudoku addicts halt drugs trial

SYDNEY (Reuters) - An Australian drugs trial lasting more than three months and costing taxpayers over A$1 million ($947,000) has been aborted after a number of jurors were found to have spent up to half the time playing Sudoku puzzles. Sydney District Court Judge Peter Zahra cancelled the trial of two men on drugs conspiracy charges after the jury foreperson admitted that four to five jurors had been playing the addictive number sequence game, local media reported. The judge was alerted after some of the jurors were observed writing their notes vertically, rather than horizontally. The game involves completing a grid of numbers in the correct sequence.

One juror said the game helped them to pay more attention by keeping their mind busy.
"Some of the evidence is rather drawn out and I find it difficult to maintain my attention the whole time," the juror was quoted saying by the Australian Associated Press.
A new trial is expected to begin in a few weeks once a new jury has been called.

How to Save Money, Time, and the Environment!

Global warming is a threat that everyone needs to take action against. Although government policies and corporations can make the biggest impact, you personally can also do your part. These 15 tips will help you save your hard earned money on utility bills, save you time and energy, and most importantly, save the environment at the same time!

Stop Annoying Junk Mail
Think about how much paper goes to waste just from the junk mail you receive. Recycling is just not enough. Stop the mailing all together. You will save trees from being cut down for paper use, as well as finally stop all that annoying mail.

Insulate and Seal Your Windows and Doors
Not only will sealing your windows save you energy and money, but it will also help reduce uncomfortable wind drafts and help reduce mold and mildew problems. Insulation will help keep your house cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Insulation and sealants are easy and cheap to install, and you can pick up the supplies you need at your local home improvement store.

Buy EnergyStar Appliances
Every electronic in your house that you can think of has energy star equivalents. Air conditioners, heaters, fans, lights, phones, refrigerators, washers, dryers, televisions, dvd players, and so on. Next time you purchase any electronic, make sure it is Energy Star Compliant to ensure that you are saving money when you power your electronics.

Drive a Fuel Efficient Car
Hybrid cars are becomming more popular for a good reason. Not only will they save you a lot of gas money immediately, they are becomming much more affordable with lower ticket prices and more government tax credits.

Inflate Your Car Tires
Driving on underinflated tires can reduce your gas mileage and tire life by more then 15%, and also increases your chances for your tire to explode while driving. Be safe and save the environment by keeping your tires inflated.

Use the Microwave Instead of the oven or Stovetop
Microwaves can use about 50% less energy then conventional ovens. Especially make sure you use the microwave in the summer because the conventional oven will heat up your kitchen, forcing your air conditioning to work harder.

Close Vents and Doors of Unused Rooms
Do you have a guest bedroom, a dining room, or a study that is rarely used? Close all the air vents in that room and keep the door closed. By doing this, your heating and cooling systems will not have to work harder to regulate extra space that just goes unused anyway.

Install CFL Lightbulbs
Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFL) use 75% less energy, last 10 times longer, and give off a lot less heat compared to the standard incandescent lightbulb. Considering the average household spends 11% of their energy consumption on lighting, CFLs could really help you save energy and money.

Take Shorter Hot Showers
Take short showers instead of baths. If you take hot showers, lower the temperature a little and take quicker showers. Don't forget - sometimes a cool or cold shower feels a lot better then a hot shower so don't get stuck in a routine and always take a hot shower.

Plant a Tree on the South Side of your Home
By planting deciduous shade trees such as Maple Trees or Oak Trees on the south and/or southwest side of your home, you will save cooling costs in the summer. These trees will shade your home from the sun as well as naturally cool the air. In the winter when the leaves fall off, the sun will then be able to shine on your house, giving you heat when you really need it.

Insulate Your Hot Water Heater and Pipes
Put the back of your hand against your hot water heater. If it is warm or hot, then you are wasting valuable money and resources every second. The heat that is supposed to be heating your water is leaking out of the appliance. Most insulation packages come in easy to install kits and are relitavely cheap.

Lower Your Hot Water Heater Thermostat
Many hot water heater manufacturers set their water heaters to 140°F before shipping them out of the factory. This not only reduces the life of your hot water heater, it wastes energy. It could also be a health hazard by making you suseptible to burns and scalding from hot water. Having your hot water heater set to anything higher the 120°F is a waste of energy and money. 115°F - 120°F will do just fine for most homes.

Get a Free Energy Audit
Almost all utility companies offer free energy audits to help your household reduce the energy bill. Give your electric company a call and schedule an appointment. It's free and you will end up saving money on your monthly payments. Why not take advantage of this free service?

Use the Stairs Instead of the Elevator
Save energy and stay fit! As long as your floor is less then 5 floors away, making the walk is not really asking that much. It takes a lot of energy for that elevator to operate.

Use Power-management Settings on your Computer
Some computers can use as much as much as 800 watts! This can really big a nice portion of your energy consumption throughout the day, yet it is so easy to fix. There are a few very simple steps you can take to make sure your computer uses up less energy, which you can read.

Weekend

Finally it's weekend..hehehe...i'm looking forward for it since Monday.Wah! only 5 days of work then thinking about holiday already hehee...well, weekend is the time for me to woke up late and be as lazy as i can coz i don't have to woke up early to start the day. Today i was very happy as it's already Friday and the last day of the week for me to work. Well, i know in Sabah rite now is holiday already, yalah kaamatan kan...But it's okay. Tomorrow i'll be going out! yeah! i want to explore this city from morning till dawn (tapi itu pun kalau tia kana marah). I need to find new shoes since my last one is not functioning very well (sakit bah kaki sia). This time I'll be looking for something that not too cheap and not too expensive as my budget is so tight. But hey what the hell..as long as I'm having fun then it's fine for me.
Since the company that I'm with is having lunch break for 2 hours and 45 minutes today, then i took the advantage to play games and went out with my fiance for lunch. At the end of the day, i was so happy and relieve that i finally finish my work and submitted it to my supervisor. He's satisfied with it and he said there will be another river that i have to analyse next week but still waiting the conformation from the big bos. Well, hope that it's not the hard one coz i might be bored haahahaaa

hey! hey!

Waaalllaaahhhhh!!!
it's been a while for me for not drop and share anything at my blog.Well, i really miss my blog thou. I've been busy for the past few days since i started my internship last Monday. So, today i want to share a bit about my experience during the past 4 days since i started my internship. Well, during the 1st day at the place, i was very nervous since i dint know anybody in the company. I event scared to enter the building until my fiance convince me that the place is not that bad. Hence, i took the courage to enter the building (as if i got any other choice hahahaha). After the lady from HR department lead me to my department which is the department of Hydrology and Hydraulic, i found out that the environment at my department was very happening. All the staff was supper friendly, including the boss. Wah! never i thought it will be like this and thank God i was at this department. My supervisor was not in till the noon comes, then i was feeling very bored as my other workmate was busy with their own work even thou there will be a break every 5 minutes for them (hahaha the fun time). Then finally came the after lunch session when my supervisor came and gave me some work to do. Well, the very 1st thing that he as me to do is READ. Well...i cannot be too demanding rite? so i follow what he said and read...But it only last like 30 minutes when i got bored because reading after taking a lunch can make u sleepy rite? then i ask my supervisor again if he got any better things that can prevent me from falling asleep. He then gave me a list of data and ask me to analyse it. Well, that data finally took me like few days to finish because it was the data of one of the most polluted river in Penang that needed to be recover. So, my job was to calculate the water quality of the river and also analyzing all the parameters that had been taken. Yet it was hard but i found it very interesting and i am looking forward to finish the job. Why? because I'm involve in doing some project that can be say BIG and also I'm proud to be one of the contributor in saving the environment. To Be Continue...

All Aboard!!!!

Today, as early as 6am i woke up after only a few hours of sleep. I had to get up early as i got 2 catch the 9.45am flight to kl and to escape from the massive jam all the way to tg.aru from putatan. Luckily the flight that i was in dint delayed. It was the most tiring day as i had to travel all alone from kk to lcct and from lcct to kl. During my journey to kl from lcct,i was a bit afraid coz the person who is sitting next to me is like so scary. I keep praying that the bus can fly so that i can reach to the destination like thunder. Buduh bah 2 urang tiba-tiba jak dia pandai ketawa sendiri-sendiri. Kalau bilang zip seluar sia tebuka pun tidak juga, sia sudah double check. Then time sia tengah concentrate baca buku (kononnya lah) pun dia tetiba ketawa.Mungkin dia rasa lucu coz cover depan buku sia ada bikini emas yang memang menarik perhatian umum. Then after i reach kl central i terserempak again with orang gila. Nasib baik my cousin yang cute that datang cepat,if not dunno what happen la with me and my beg that. Fuhhh...so close..=p (Nie dia yg taip sendiri hahahaha). Well, it end up nicely today. I went shopping for kitchen stuff and i love it very much....end of day 1

Malaysian Artistes For Unity

Last Friday I was listening to Hitz.fm when I heard about this thing. I immediately surf the web site n listen to the song. The song was superb and I'm so proud of it.A big applause to all of them. How it has began? here's the story..

pete was juggling tomatoes.
bored. so he telephoned a few friends instead. “how about getting together to make an anti-racism song and music video?” all said yes without hesitation. not because pete threatened them with a rusty knife. only because they love Malaysia.the contingent swelled to 52 people a few days later. it included filmmakers, dancers, singers, producers, musicians, actors, entrepreneurs, designers, footballers, activists, celebrities, students and a florist. nobody would be paid. yet they were enthused. not because they were high on speed. only because they love Malaysia.
they gathered to record the song. it had a catchy chorus and was able to induce a mass sing-along. everyone was happy when it was done. they named it ‘here in my home’. then more people joined. the party now included more than 120 people. but the budget remained exactly zero. it seems even the spreadsheet loves Malaysia.
everyone turned up for the video shoot. much fun was had and friendships made. video editors went to work after the shoot was done. both the recording and the video would be given away for free. a gift to the nation. from those who love Malaysia to those who feel the same.

did you ask what this is all about?

it’s about love.

So,as the citizen of Malaysia, I would like to invite all blogger to start downloading this song and pass it to your friends, to your friend's friends and everybody else...

The End

Last week on the occasion of our final year being a student, me and my other housemate when to celebrated it with a dinner at Jesselton. It was not that happening but it was still a happy moment for me.That day was the last day for us. Spent time together. Stay at the same house for 1 year can bring million memories that will never fade for thousand years...you see Friendship isn't always easily described. The Eskimos, they say, have a hundred different words for snow. Unfortunately, the English language isn't quite as innovative, though it has vast opportunities to differentiate meaning. Certainly, Love is one of those opportunities. And so, too, is Friendship.
Instead of different words, however, we're stuck with simple adjectives. Close friend. Best friend. Childhood friend. Intimate friend. Trusted friend. Beloved friend. But whether you use adjectives or different words, few could deny the nearly infinite meaning in such a simple word.
Friends are special people. We can't pick our family, and we're sorely limited in the number of them at any rate. Society and mores (and often our own conscience) dictate we select a single mate. But our friends can be as diverse and infinite as the adjectives we choose. Our friends, in a very real sense, reflect the choices we make in life.

Special Wish to All Mothers around the World

'Mother' is that special creation of the Almighty God whom He has gifted with the unique power of giving life to a living being. No one can repay the debt of a mother. But we can certainly honor our mothers and bring smile on their faces by celebrating the special Mother's Day.

  • Mums are like angels they look after you watch you grow but most importantly they love you.

  • M is for the million things she gives me. O means only that she's soft to hold. T for the things she tries to teach me. H is for her heart of purest gold. E for her eyes with love light shining. R means right and right she'll always be.

  • God made mothers smile out of sunshine And he molded her heart out of gold In her eyes he placed bright shining stars In her cheek, roses.

  • There is no one like a mother and, no mother quite like you. You are so very thoughtful and caring, and I just wanted to thank you mother, for making my life brighter.

  • "There is no velvet so soft as a mother's lap, no rose as lovely as her smile, no path so flowery as that imprinted with her footsteps." ~ Archibald Thompson

  • All you love, all your caring ways, all your giving these years are the reasons why my heart thinks of you on Mothers Day with a wish for happiness and a world full of love.

  • Today is a very special time to let a mother know she is always treasured in the hearts of those who love her so.

  • Your arms were always open when I needed a hug. Your heart understood when I needed a friend. Your gentle eyes were stern when I needed a lesson. Your strength and love has guided me and gave me wings to fly. ~ Sarah Malin

I love you as my mother. I respect you as a woman. I trust you as my friend. You mean so much to me and I'm so lucky to have you.

Happy Mothers Day.

Optical Illusions

This one is for you builders out there. Can this structure be built?

Stare at the center long enough and the dots will disappear!

Stare at this image close up for 60 seconds then lean back and close your eyes. You will see an image of Jesus. This one is freaky.

How many bus do you think it is?

Indian or eskimo?

Young woman or an old lady?

Look at the chart and say the COLOR not the word

Can you count how many black dots?

Can you find all the 9 faces?
