New Hobby Of Mine

Recently I have a new hobby which I really love and can spent one whole day just doing 'IT'. Don't get me wrong there ahahahha.Previous month when I was still a full time house wife, I tend to surf all the fun things that I can do at home besides watching tv and playing games.

While surfing, I saw this one little tiny dress which was made by pillow case. It was called the Pillow Case Dress. It was super duper cute. The person who invented this dress is genius because the material that you need to make this dress was not only cheap but also easy to find.

From the video and tutorial that I've watched and read, seems like making one was not that hard. Since I don't have a sewing machine, I just watch some more video on how to make it before a sewing machine finally came down from the sky.

I will definitely going to make one!

Look at this, isn't it Georges?

So cute!

I already inspired to do one and the proposal to buy a sewing machine was already been submitted to the big boss. Hoping it will be approve so that I can make not just one but many. The first one I'll be making is for the little girl back in Kota Kinabalu. Yeah! For the mother, beware! your daughter going to be my little model for the dress that I'm going to make.

p/s: Dear Boss, please please please approve my proposal. :)

KL at Night

Since the puasa starts, the noise level at my neighborhood was super duper loud. With the fire cracker every were, people selling their kuih, baju, shoes, flowers and so on. On top of all, the traffic condition was very very bad. It started around 9.00am and it will last around 2 or 3 in the morning. I don't know how the other neighbor can stand with the noise coming from the traffic with the buses honking their hon like there's no tomorrow.

Temporary stalls were built all along the TAR road

Look at this

A bit better during this time

Stuck in a jam like this everyday will make you become crazy.

Lucky it will end soon as the temporary tents were currently being removed and just to remind myself this thing will appear again by next year and the year after next year as long as I'm still here.

P/s: Dear beloved husband of mine, cepat cepat lah minta transfer balik!! Sekian Terima Kasih

Bathroom Story

The house that we were staying now always had water supply problem and this usually occur during the weekend or around 5.30pm till 8.00pm weekdays and sometimes it goes out till mid night. We are staying on the 15th floor so usually the supply couldn't reach our floor when all the below neighbors are using it simultaneously. To make it more fun, this is a government quarters where this kind of issue should never happen. When this thing happens, It always makes me down and my husband will be the victim of me listening to all my curse especially towards the owner of the building.

Talking about this, I have one funny moment where it happens in our bathroom...

One fine night around 11pm, my husband was fixing the shower faucet when I entered the bathroom to wash my hands. Then when I turn the sink faucet...

Me:
Babi oh kan time time sekarang pun tiada air.

Husband:
Apa babi2 nie,sia off main pipe bah tu mo tukar nie kepala paip.

Me: Heheeheeee***** (Malu)

Pity my husband ndak pasal pasal kena %$##@ hehehehee

How long?

Exactly what I do everyday

Previously when i was still working, I always imagine pampering myself at home with long hours watching tv, wake up supper late and do anything that I like at home. Now the thing that i've imagining is happening to me rite now. It has been a couple of months now. At the first few months it was okay since I spent it with my family back at my hometown. Now I'm back here in KL with nobody to talk to except my husband and almost nothing to do except for the usual house chores. I'm getting mad. Feel like going crazy. I try to find job here but nowadays it's a bit hard because of the economy. Complaining this situation to my husband is like talking to a wall because he also getting bored with all my phone calls during the day telling that I'm bored and I don't know what to do at home anymore.

I don't know how long can I last with this kind of activities everyday. Oh gosh wish I was in KK. How I wish I am in KK now because I don't care if I'm a housewife I still have my sisters, brothers and little Mika to talk and play with. Misses those days when we all having our breakfast after the Sunday Mass. Miss those Saturdays when we spent all the afternoon eating Asam Pedas Isi Ikan and if it's not enough we will tapau extra to take home hehehhe. Misses those Pan Mee tambah sasau oh gosh bila lah dapat balik nie.

Six Days

Six days!
That is number that i've been lying around my bed
Can't even open my eyes for an hour
Too tired, too dizzy,to weak even to sit.

Six Days!
The number of days that had made my house turn upside down
The number of days my husband have to iron his own clothes,
do the laundry, buy my breakfast, lunch and dinner (sometimes cook if he came home early)
The number of days he stayed up late just to make sure i'm okay

Six Days!
Hopefully in the future I won't be sick like this long torturing six days
Big Hug and kisses to my dearest husband for taking care of me.

Memory Pillow

Couple of weeks ago I had problem sleeping. I couldn’t sleep if it’s not 12 or 1 in the morning. Sometimes I force myself to sleep but it turns out the same. I also will wake up 2 or 3 times at night feeling uneasy or in other words uncomfortable. Well I discuss this matter with my husband and we both agree that the problem may be caused by the pillow that we are using.

You see the pillow that we were using was so thin, well at first it was hard and soft on the day we bought it but soon it became thinner and thinner. Sometimes when I awake in the middle of the night I wonder if I’m using any pillow because seems like I’m not using one. My husband snores were also loud and these were also the main reason why it’s hard for me to sleep. Even thou awhile ago I’m use to it when he snores but these couple of months, his snoring is louder than usual (I think the neighbor can also hear the ‘motorboat’ sounds hehehe…)

So the best way to solve this matter was to replace the current pillow with the comfy one. After few surveys had been done, we decided to go with the Memory Pillow which a bit pricey but worth every penny that we paid. Believe me the results by using these pillow really amaze me. I have no longer facing the problem of sleeping nor feeling discomfort. No more waking in the middle of the night and the most important thing is my husband snoring problems were solved. He is no longer snores and if he did it is because he is tired but the sounds of it were very-very low. Check out the website of Memory Pillow. Now, I sleep like a baby :)

Interesting Fact

My husband and I were watching Animal Planet, stories about dry season where the river were almost dried out and animals were trying to survive with the last water from the river. All animals like buffalo, birds, monkey and gazelle tried to get the taste of the water but each and every one of them were scared because the river was full with crocodiles. Those who dare will risk themselves and the other will just see for afar. What have caught our eyes was…

This animal...

Does not eat nor attack

This animal…

Big question mark from both of us!

Hence, I Google the answer and the results were as below. It is interesting to know the answers.

1. Crocs Vs Hippo?
A male hippo versus male crocs, gotta go with the hippo. They have been seen killing crocs. The two normally avoid each other, but adult hippos, especially males, will drive crocs away from the area if the croc appears to become aggressive. Male hippos do kill crocs.

2. Can crocodiles eat a hippo?
Very large crocodiles, such as the infamous Nile Crocodile Gustave (20ft+) have been known to kill and devour male adult hippos. However, crocodiles tend to go for smaller hippos and generally prefer gazelle and wildebeest over hippos, which they share their territories with.

3. Why crocodiles are afraid of hippos?

Big hippos sometimes kill crocodiles in defense of their young. However the giant Nile crocodile Gustav was observed killing an adult hippo.

4. Can a hippo kill a crocodile?

Yes they can, and do, on rare occasions. But normally they ignore each other.

Conclusion

Crocs and hippos live quite happily together - the crocodile is no threat to the large mammal and the hippo is a vegetarian, only the young hippo's will appear on the menu and the adults make sure they never stray too far

The Wedding Girl

As I was wondering around at MPH bookstore the other day when I saw this book which the author was so familiar. It was MADELEINE WICKHAM. It really sounds familiar isn’t it? Well she’s also known as Sophie Kinsella, the famous author for the shopaholic series. I have seen Wickham book before but it was way out from my budget. But this particular book of hers was cheap! It was RM20+ cheaper than the other books that I saw. I definitely will buy the book. But, yes there is a but for it. I still have 2 books to be finished then only I have the green light to buy the book. Hopefully the book will not sold out by the time I’m buying it (Cross finger).

Oh I know all the books lover out there know about Carmen Reid latest release book Celebrity Shopper. Well it was a dream of mine to have this book but during the release the book was a bit expensive. So, me and my sister decided to wait till the price goes down a bit and guess what sister! Hahaahah we can afford to buy it already! Yippie! Yippie!

Last Supper

Puzzle. When I heard this word it makes me smile. It was a pastime of mine. I have tons of finished puzzles which were framed back at my hometown. My family know well how much I love puzzle especially ‘Tiger and Pooh’ pictures. My old room was full of it until now (even thou I’m married and cartoons suppose to be for kids *lol*)

It has been ages since my last puzzle till recently I became a housewife and saw this image on the internet. It was the dream of mine to have this piece. I’ve been eying for this thing for ages but I can only dream to have one since it was out from my budget range. Then, one day I express my enthusiasm about this piece to my husband. Amazingly he said yes and the hunting begins. I’ve been looking for it at almost all shops and finally found it when I was almost giving up. Even thou the price was a bit high, luckily my husband agrees to bought it for me. Love him so much, so understanding.

It took me 4 days to complete this puzzle but all the hard work in the completion of this puzzle was very satisfying and worth it.
