Korean Food Festival

Last Friday we were enjoying our window shopping around BB area when we saw a place filled with Korean food. It was the Korean Food Festival. Wah first time kami nampak nie heheeheee then we took the chance to buy Food that ndak pernah kami nampak di Malaysia. I was very impressed with the Korean lady whom sold the Ginseng to us. She can speak 5 different languages including Malay. Kewl!

Since the price of the food was not so okay, then I only bought the noodles. Satu bungkus pun sudah mau RM4. But, my fiance shopping berabis bah heheehee he bought candies that made from Ginseng and the Ginseng itself. Kalah sia o... I manage to take pictures of the food we bought but it was not so clear since I took it with HP cam. Miskin bah, tia mampu mo beli cam. :P

The noodles. Belum ada chance mo try till today.

The Ginseng candies yang tia sedap

The Ginseng. We bought the Ginseng and we preserve it with alcohol. Have to wait until three months then baru boleh minum.

How Great is our god

I know some of you may said this song is out of date. For me it's still on. Sharing it with you will make me a better person :)

new day new life

it's been ages since my last post. People will said that they were busy and doesn't have time to update their blog. Yah that was the common reason that we always heard. But it's different for me thou. I'm not so busy nor don't have even a little time for my blog. it's just that I don't have a nice topic that i could share with you guys.

Life was quite okay so for me. This morning, I woke up a bit early coz I want to witness my fiance fitness exam which they have to run for about 2.4km.So, i followed him to the Tasik. But, instead of watching him run I took the chance to find a place to sit and read a book. It was so wonderful. The breeze, the silent and the sound of birds,it makes me feel very calm. What a great morning it was.
I'm hired! hehehee a bit happy there. few days ago I went for a couple of interview and guest what! all of them offering me a job. I was so happy to received the new as after all the hard work in finding a job, I finally got it. Thanks to God. Since I got a few offer at the same time, It took me a day to think which job should I except. Pheewww finally after all the thinking and discussion with my fiance,I made a decision and decided to take the job with low pressure and cost me only a few bucks to travel everyday to work.

The company asked me to star work immediately, like today. But I said I can't and because of the bos is so nice ohh almost forget to tell the managing director's wife was a Sabahan. Hahahah lucky me I can talk with Sabah slang there :) They ask me to come to work next Monday. Wah, so fast! hmm....but it's okay, at least dapat juga pocket money cepat sikit.
For the time being, I just have to focus on this job before continuing searching for gov vacan. Who doesn't rite? Well people, this is a little bit update that i can share with you guys. I'm running out of idea again. Haahaha don't blame me, blame my brain and my creativity.

It's Coming

Do you still remember Sophie Kinsella? no kidding of course you are, who doesn't? Then if you still do, you must remember the book Confessions of a Shopaholic right? Therefore I'm here to announce (eventhou some or all of you already know) that a movie based on this book will coming out very soon. Horay! Horay!

I'm sharing the synopsis with you....
Based on the books "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and "Shopaholic Takes Manhattan" by Sophie Kinsella. Rebecca Bloomwood is a 25 year old who lives with her best friend Suze in Suze's flat (paying her friend rent that is well below market value), in a trendy part of town. Rebecca has a very boring job writing for a financial magazine. She has a shopping addiction and her crap job doesn't pay enough. Her bills are piling up, so she tries cutting back (complete fiasco), then she tries making more money (another fiasco). Eventually, Becky discovers a story that she is truly invested in. Exposing the story gets the attention of a (male, need I say more?) colleague that she hasn't quite figured out yet. Some drama ensues as she snags the (EXTREMELY hot) guy, and she attempts to pay off her ever-growing debt.

I know it will be a fantastic movie, I can feel it! can't wait!!

Life

It's 2.50 in the morning and I'm still wide awake. I could not sleep so I decided to watch a movie. It was an old movie and I've watched it few times in Spanish. But this time I got a copy of it in English. So I watch it again (in a language that I can understand hehee) I was really touch by this movie. It was based on a true story, a true story of someone life. The movie title was Homeless to Harvard. I know you may think it was an outdated movie, but believe me every time to watch it, the feel is still there.

This lifetime original movie tells the amazing true story of former troubled teen Liz Murray. Born into a poor, dysfunctional family led by a coke-addicted father and blind, HIV-positive mother,Liz spends her formative years exposed to the drugs and neglect that eventually drive her toward living on the streets of New York at age 15. It isn't until her mother's death from AIDS that Liz decides to turn her life around by going back to high school, becoming a star student, and earning a scholarship to Harvard University through an essay contest sponsored by the New York Times.

This type of film should be watch by youngsters whom still doesn't know the real picture of life. It may open their mind and hearts

may i borrow $25?

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'

DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.

SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.

SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'

SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'

The father was furious,
'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often.

The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.

'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.

'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you.

Here's the $25 you asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled.

Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied. 'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts.

Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love. Have we forgotten what is really important in life? Too caught up in money, personalambitions, and forgot how to enjoy and appreciate the sweet simplicities in life?

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
